Quantum Condensed Matter Theory Group

Ahn Group at UT Austin conducts theoretical research to explore and understand the quantum mechanical phenomena in condensed matter.​ We employ approaches in quantum optics and information, as well as conventional techniques in condensed matter physics, to uncover new properties of materials at the quantum level. We aim to unlock the potential of materials for future quantum technologies and fundamental scientific understanding.
